Old Glory Boat Parade of Balboa Island

American Legion Yacht Chart presents the Balboa Island Old Glory Boat Parade! The 4th of July festivities start early with a Pancake Breakfast from 7:00 - 11:00 am. The much anticipated boat parade begins at 2:30 and starts off at Collins Island and cruises all around Newport Harbor. It is FREE to register your boat and all boaters are encouraged to get in the Red, White, and Blue spirit and decorate your boat. The winner of the boat parade will be recognized at the Awards Banquet on Sunday, Juy 24th.

Other activites during the day include a lunch buffet from noon until 5 PM, dancing with "The Grumps" from 1 until 5 PM, and music and dancing with Paul Eschelman Quartet from 6 until 9 PM. Don't forget about the fantastic firework show that kicks off at 9 PM.

Entry forms and Skipper packets can be picked up at the American Legion Post 291 215 15th Street, Newport Beach CA 92663 Office Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, or after hours in the bar area. Or to volunteer to help with or participate contact the Vice Commodore Dan O'Sullivan.
