Surf City Marathon
Kick off Superbowl Sunday with your own athletic event! Participate in The Surf City Marathon & Half Marathon right up the road from Newport Beach...in Huntington Beach. This race truly is a runner's paradise. It is no surprise that this stunning course is an award winning one and starts and finishes on the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach. The course is relatively flat and exceptionally scenic. Runners have the choice of participating in the half or full marathon course and there is a 6-hour time limit for the marathon course so all level runners are welcome for either race!
Race Info Start Times:
– Wheelchair Marathon: 6:25 a.m.
– Full Marathon: 6:30 a.m.
– Half Marathon: 7.45 a.m.

After you cross the finish line celebrate in the Samuel Adams Beach Party Beer Garden for runners 21 and over. Good news - participants 21 and over are offered 2 complementary drinks! Enjoy - you deserve it!

Since 2006 Surf City has partnered with The Free Wheelchair Mission. Participants have the option to donate $20.00 to the Free Wheelchair Mission's 11th Annual Run for Mobility and receive member benefits such as: 1 free dinner ticket the night before the race, a race jersey, a team wristband, an invitation to the Team Social in January and more!
