Festive family fun
Boo! Fall is the time of year that spooky ghosts and goblins come out to play! Embrace the fall by taking full advantage of everything Newport Beach has to offer during the season. These child friendly events will have something fun for everyone in the family!
The Fall Fair and Pumpkin Patch takes place at The Environmental Nature Center on October 13 from 10 am – 3 pm. There will be fun games and crafts galore, pony rides, face painting for all of the children. Meet the animals at the petting zoo and snack on food from local vendors. Your day won’t be complete until you’ve searched through the many different shaped and colored pumpkins and found your perfect pumpkin to bring home.
Come out to the Fun Zone on Friday October 25 for Family Fright Zone Friday! Get ready for Halloween by celebrating it early at ExplorOcean from 6 pm – 8:30 pm. Dress up in your Halloween costume and enjoy spooky ghost stories, face painting, magic shows, and entertainment for all ages. Trick-or-treat with the goblins and witches of Balboa Peninsula…if you dare!
A Halloween favorite for many is the Corona Del Mar Costume Ride on Saturday October, 26. This bike ride is a total of 6 miles long, but the pace is kept slow so all ages are encouraged to participate. Beginning at the Newport Beach Civic Center, bikers cruise through the streets of Corona Del Mar and the best costumes will be given prizes!
