A Toast to Mom in Newport Beach
Mother’s Day is on the 8th of May, right around the corner. Why not start the celebration with brunch on the beach! Here’s a look at some of our favorite spots to take mom for a Sunday Brunch.
Our first stop is The Beachcomber Café in Crystal Cove.
This charming ocean front restaurant with its breathtaking views is an ideal spot to spend the morning with mom. A delicious brunch menu has been specially prepared for the occasion featuring beignets, blue crab omelets as well as buttermilk fried chicken and grilled salmon salad just to name a few delicious entrees on the menu. Toast mom with bottomless champagne and mimosas to make the celebration complete!
Our next stop is Bosscat Kitchen and Libations for Sunday Funday with mom!
A savory Sunday Brunch menu created by Chef Peter Petro perfectly paired with a Bosscat Bloody Mary is sure to hit the spot. Of course you can’t visit Bosscat without sipping one of their over 100 select whiskey, bourbon, and scotch options from around the world. It’s a truly unique place to make memories with mom for years to come!
Our last stop is The Cannery Restaurant.
Voted #10 on the OC Register’s list of 75 best restaurants in Orange County, The Cannery features stunning views of the ocean and a variety of fresh seafood. Brunch entrees include Crème Brulee French Toast, Chilean Sea Bass and Lobster Roll. Raw oysters on the half shell and a top shelf day drinking menu makes for a tasty time with mom!
