To his name, he has won many titles such as Bravo’s Top Chef Master in 2009, and the James Beard awards for: Midwest Chef of the Year, National Chef of the Year, and best American Chef of the Year. Rick Bayless is also known his Television Series, Mexico – One Plate at a Time, and for publishing 8 popular cookbooks. He has many claims to fame, but his dedication to giving back is also recognized. Bayless founded Fronera Farmer Foundation and he works to support small Midwestern farms and donates each year to improve local family farms.
