Two Convenient Locations  

Balboa Fun Tours offers two locations - one at Balboa Beach near the Newport Beach Pier, and another at Newport Beach just off the Pacific Coast Highway. If the rental you’re looking for isn’t available at one location, the other may be able to accommodate you.   

Rental Options  

There’s no shortage of options for on-the-water experiences with Balboa Fun Tours. If you’re looking for a guided experience and more local insight, you can arrange a tour by kayak, paddleboard, or electric boat. Tours are typically one or two hours long, and our knowledgeable guides can fill you in on everything from local history to nature facts to information on what it’s like to live in the area. All the while, you’ll be taking in incredible scenery, unbelievable yachts, and outrageously expensive but beautiful homes.  

We also offer guided bike and Segway tours, should you prefer to remain on dry land. We cater to both individuals and small groups, and we always put safety first. Our equipment is impeccably maintained, and we begin every tour with a safety briefing. It’s a fantastic way to get the lay of the land while enjoying the coastal air and fabulous people watching. Beach cruisers include the option to follow your tour with an all-day rental.  

If you prefer a more DIY experience, we also rent out paddle boards and kayaks. We strongly recommend reservations to ensure availability, but there’s never any harm in stopping by to check on last minute availability, either.  

With Balboa Fun Tours, there’s no need to buy expensive equipment and safety accessories, as we provide everything you need for a fun and safe day. Our stock is always in excellent condition, as we inspect everything carefully and sell used equipment long before it reaches the point of disrepair.  

Kayak & Paddleboard Sales  

At Balboa Fun Tours, we’re confident you’ll have a great time out on the water. That’s why in addition to rentals, we also offer equipment sales of both new and used kayaks and paddleboards. Once you’ve been out on the water in our equipment, you may love it so much you have to take one home. We have deals starting as low as $199.
